I mean Rick Rawse’s “Teflon Don” is more of a Twitter trending topic, but in the idea that a well balanced team wins championships-building your castle with a strong foundation all around is definitely the way to go about doing thangs. MB can score and defend, and more importantly he passed on TWO 2 year deals that were for $7milli and $9 milli to sign with LA for a 2 year $3.5 mil. You think its all about the money? TR is a proven defender that can score. Throw Jeff Blake in the mix and trading Pau Gasol and a couple other bench players for CP3 doesn’t look so far off as their next move, which would basically cement a MIA x LA finals for years to come. Its interesting how stars wanted to be “the man” for a team…and the ONLY “the man” on their team. Like it would be blasphemy to throw two stars, let alone a constellation, on the same team, and then the Celtics happened. I guess my point here is: GOOD Music should have signed Malice too. Originally designed for running in the 1970s, the Auckland Racer carries a lineage associated with pioneers of the early years of the jogging movement. Today, it’s just a clean, simple silhouette using materials like reflective TPU and nylon mesh, often found in sport apparel from the ‘70s and ‘80s, but repurposed in a sleek, modern manner.” -Converse First String. The AM180 gets the hybrid treatment here with the addition of a Nike’s Lunar cushioned outsole (still with the signature 180 Air bubble, though) and a breathable Torch technology in the upper. This blend of OG stylings and new technology makes for a balanced shoe that’s neither too retro or too spaced out-plus you gotta love that colorway. Just when you thought there could not be another colorway of the Kobe V….hello, Olympic Team USA colorway. I will be in to buy this shoe tomorrow with the rest of you. I don’t know why more b-boys aren’t about this shoe because for all the reasons that this is a great shoe to hoop in-its also a great shoe to dance in, and have you seen some of the shoes that b-boys dance in? Its odd how b-boying is about style and originality, but some of those dudes cannot dress, and if you’re getting offended by this, then it might just be you-the true heads know they got it. Skateboard giant Chocolate and Super collab sunglasses. Superfly. And the branding is all on the inner arms so no visible logos when wearing. Wow. Best Chucks of the year outside of the CDG ones? It’s not much of a stretch to make that statement. Tonal grey on grey tonal suede lows and black on black tonal suede highs-stitching, eyelets…everything. Earlier this year we were approached by our friends at Jansport to be one of a handful of select retailers to be a part of their Right Pack Program to design one-of-a-kind patches that embrace the culture of each boutique’s respective community. We chose our circular “KH script” patch placement signifies the rising sun; which, like any kid, is reminiscent of waking up at the crack of dawn, grabbing your backpack, and running to the bus to go to school as the Jansport Right Pack was and is still today, the iconic backpack from our childhood. We also added a custom KICKS/HI carabiner to each Right Pack because lord knows how many keys everyone has to carry nowadays. Each Right Pack features Cordura fabric body, suede leather bottom and padded shoulder straps and will be available in 5 different colorways: purple, cabesa blue, green, maroon or black. These KICKS/HI for Jansport Right Pack backpacks will only be available through our Hawaii and Guam physical doors and in our KICKS/HI ONLINE SHOP.
“Pineapple Shock” is inspired by Jane’s Addiction’s 1988 “Nothing’s Shocking” album cover. Of course we had to put our own twist on it…available on white or black tees.

In Hawaii we have a spiritual connection to the elements through a protective guardian spirit or family protector in the form of an animal, cloud or tree known as an ‘aumakua. The pua’a (boar) represents the earth, the niuhi (tiger shark) represent the sea, and the pu’eo (owl) represents the sky. This “Born&Raised” series is comprised of hand drawn, pen&ink graphics to keep the designs as organic as possible. All of the “Born&Raised” tees are available in white or athletic heather grey.
This “Shine” photoprint tee is one of my favorites from this entire line of personal favorites. This photo just turned out so official. Shot out to our printers for real for real! Available on white or black tees. You know where we stay…
Quite possibly one of our strongest designs over the years has been our “Natives are Restless” one. We have flipped it so many ways and it still hits hard every time, and this “Take Arms” incarnation is no different. Available on white, red or black tees.
…speaking of that “Natives are Restless” design…haha. Snapback cap makes the cipher complete. Available in blue with white embroidery, light grey with green embroidery or black with red embroidery. Each cap also features a splatter print on the underbill and our signature KICKS/HI Orange Label tag.
I am in dry goods stores as much as I am up in the Polo store, which is a lot. There is such a wealth of amazing, original patterns and fabrics. Its just endless. This “New Future Camo” was unearthed at the back of this one mom+pop store. Pretty awesome. Needless to say, once these caps are sold out, there will never be another run of it. Available in blue/gold, olive/gold or purple/gold.
Our “KH” has gone through many type treatments. This latest script has done really well for us from last season’s tees so we took it to a snapback cap. Available in red cap with white embroidery, woodland camo with black embroidery and black with orange embroidery. Each cap also features a “Hawaii” embroidery on the back-as well as our signature KICKS/HI Orange Label tag.
